Prof. Dr. Achilles C. Emilianides is a practicing advocate, Professor of Law and Head of the Law Department of the University of Nicosia. He holds a PhD in Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is the President of the ‘Centre of Scientific Dialogue and Research’. He has received the Anny Tsatsos award from the Centre of European Constitutional Law in Athens. He has also been appointed as an external legal advisor to the Attorney-General of the Republic of Cyprus with respect to Community private international law instruments.
