[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The AMI continuously produces and consistently presents journalistic content for \u201cDimosiografia\u201d (=Journalism) journal, its\u00a0<\/span>website<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0and its\u00a0<\/span>Facebook page<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and \u00a0<\/span>Twitter<\/span><\/a>; for the <\/span>AMI Facebook Page<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span>Communication and New Journalism Facebook Page<\/span><\/a>, the\u00a0<\/span>Communication and New Journalism Twitter\u00a0<\/span><\/a>\u00a0as well as the\u00a0<\/span>Communication and New Journalism Blog<\/span><\/a>, as well as for the traditional media of Cyprus and Greece. The prime source for producing and managing journalistic material is public speech. From issuing and uploading a simple post, bulletin or press release to\u00a0 more complex services, such as creating a TV spot, which involves directing, sound engineering, imaging, graphics, editing and distribution.<\/span><\/p>\n

For example, the Institute created a full campaign for UNESCO\u2019s World Press Freedom Day, supported by a team of participants in \u2018Communication and New Journalism\u2019 Open University of Cyprus Master Program. Twenty-seven video clips were produced, 15 articles were published in the Greek and Cypriot press, participants appeared in TV and radio shows, and there was broad diffusion through the new Media and various Social Networking Sites.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A documentary with strong political coloring, \u201cTraces\u201d, produced by the Advanced Media Institute in 2018, brought once again to center stage the harrowing story of the missing persons after the Turkish invasion in Cyprus.
