
Anastasia Aslanides studied Business Administration & Economics at the University of Macedonia, in Thessaloniki and furthered her studies in the UK, France and Switzerland, according to her carrier requirements.
Joining Cyprus Airways in 1979, she offered her services from various posts within the Company. She worked on several projects as team member or project manager before she had been assigned as Head of Commercial Planning & International Affairs Department. Since 2009 she continued her career as an external associate in research projects and studies in the broader field of air-transport and tourism industry. In the meantime she enrolled to the Postgraduate Program in Communication and new Journalism at the Open University of Cyprus and, combining her experience in tourism and culture with journalism, she earned a sound M.A. degree.
Anastasia is currently involved in academic and business research in areas of her expertise and is also holding appointment at “Ecole Franco-chypriote” as a financial coordinator. She is member of various professional and social organizations. She speaks four languages and she holds professional degrees in music.
