Konstantinos Grapsas was born in Thessaloniki in 1970. He joined the Hellenic Air Force Academy in 1989. His early career was as a fighter pilot and then he served as an instructor pilot. His staff tours range from assignments in the Hellenic Air Force General Staff as Flight Safety Officer and Spokesman of the Hellenic Air Force. He has a Bachelor in History from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Also he has a Master of Arts in International Relations and Security, from University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki. In addition he has a Master of Arts in Communication and New Journalism from the Open University of Cyprus.Today he serves to the European Union External Action Service.
