This research project has been completed with the financing of the Open University of Cyprus. Leading researchers in the research team were Sofia Iordanidou and Athanasios N. Samaras, whereas the members of the coding team were: Sofia Aggelidou, Maria-Eleni Dimitriou, Myrsini Dogani and Sofia Kastorchi.
Research relied on quantitative content analysis to examine representations of nations in the news Media of four countries. The aim was to examine the influence of journalistic practices, as well as the dynamics of facts in shaping the projected nation images.
